Notes from Bill Root:
My decision to build this web site was made several years ago. The delay in creation was primarily due to a steep learning curve in the use of DreamWeaver, the software I'm using to create the site. Additionally, I had committed to several family-oriented web sites first. So here it is.
Forty-five years have passed since I was a student at Zama High School. The students attending there today are old enough to be our grandchildren - a sobering thought. But growing older is simply a part of the whole process. It's beyond trite, but still as true as can be: Growing old is certainly better than the alternative.
If you have taken the time to peruse the pages I have assembled here, you'll notice many gaps. I did not attend Zama during my junior and senior years and I imagine many of you have items, such as photos, documents, or memoirs that would be perfect to share with other members of our class. If you will share these items with me, I will find a place for them on the site. Here is a suggestion:
- Digitally scan photos and/or documents and email them to me. If you do not have the know-how or the proper equipment, send the items to me. I will scan them and return them to you.

Stay tuned, I will add to this as materials find me and the spirit moves me..........
